These are the things that when I see them they squeeze my body with such joy I can hardly contain a shout for joy and sometimes I don’t!!

I love the wind undulating across hills of grass, and California poppies in full bloom by the road side.  I love the spring sky, its sweetness of blue piled with white clouds and the sun striking green spring trees with dark grey-blue skies behind.  I love lightning and thunder.  I love flocks of birds reeling in the sky, flashing back and forth as they turn, and bare winter trees when you can see bird nests.  I love the bird songs in the morning and holding a stunned bird to right it so it can fly once again, it is like holding air.  I love cats, the way they flow across the earth, the softness of their paws. I love the constant shush of the waves as they slide up the seashore and the vastness they come from.  These make my heart glad.
